"Unplug the set and let it sit for a minute or so.
Remove front and back panels.
NOTE: I was able to access this part easily from the front panel. Your set may be
different)
Under each lens neck there are green PCB boards. On each board there is
a two wire plug attached. The other end of the wire goes to the glass tube at the bottom
of the neck. It looks like it is taped to the tube. Disconnect these
wires from each board.
Put up a needle pulse pattern and play with the sharpness control.
Put everything back together and set the sharpness control as specified in VE or
AVIA."
