Service Menu
<< Back to Zenith Tips
Tip from Grayson: "Well, I was playing around with the OSD and PIP service
menu when I changed the VP 0F MODE setting from 0 to 1 and then I kept scrolling down to
other settings. I noticed a slew of new settings. Here they are with my factory settings
and instructions on how to get into the service menu. Playing around in any television's
service menu is not advised as you can cause serious damage to the T.V., I take no
responsibility for any damage caused by people using the following instructions.
***Make sure you have the PIP window up.
- Set main and PIP video input to RF(channel),
- Press & hold MENU on remote untill the menu dissapears and then quickly press
9-8-7-6-ENTER.
- Up & down on the cursor highlights different values and right & left on the
cursor adjusts the value. VP 0F MODE 0 = OSD & PIP Menu, VP 0F MODE 1 = TRUE SERVICE
MENU.
To exit and save from the TRUE SERVICE MENU switch back to VP 0F MODE 0 and then turn
the power to the IQB27FW off.***

Service Menu on DirectViews
Tip from Chuck Williams: For a direct view set, Chuck
recommends trying to hold down "the menu button on the remote down until you get a
message that says something like "Welcome to Digital TV," then hit 9-8-7-6-ENTER
on the remote."
Service Menu on Zenith 851 (same as Runco Cinema Pro 750)
The procedure for getting into the service menus of Zenith
851 and Runco Cinema Pro 750 projectors is the same. Click here for info.
Quick note about Zenith IQC50W94
Tip from Brian Jefferys: "The
service menu and convergance is setup almost exactly as the Hitachi 43FDX01B. There is the
blue button on the inside of the front cover to access the convergance cross pattern. By
pressing source and power at the same time, you will get the service menu. The service
menu is very close to the Hitachi."
